Dogs on brewery patios are a common sight. But at Lake Monster, your pup can hang out in the taproom, too. Good to know, as fall approaches. "We welcome all well-behaved dogs, kids, and adults both inside and outside on the patios," said the brewery's Matt Zanetti. "No barking, no yelling, no running. And make yourselves at home."

During Chroma Zone, Lake Monster hosted an evening of artist talks that drew a huge crowd of humans (shown here). This corner of the Zone was strong for festival sponsors: not only Lake Monster, but also Vandalia Tower— the creative center that houses the brewery and dozens of other enterprises— and First & First, the developer with the original vision for the complex.
